Even if you are not ready to adopt, we invite you to support our Food Drive by donating wet or dry cat food to help feed the many cats in BCR’s care, including foster cats, rescued strays, and managed colonies throughout Bridgeport. Every bag, can, and donation helps us continue lifesaving rescue work for cats with nowhere else to turn. 🐾

Bridgeport Cat Rescue is a small, volunteer-run organization dedicated to giving abandoned and at-risk cats a second chance at life.
Powered entirely by compassionate community members, we rescue, foster, and provide critical medical care to cats in need while working to humanely reduce the stray population through TNR (Trap–Neuter–Return).
Every cat we save is cared for in a loving home environment—never a facility—ensuring they receive the attention and socialization they deserve.
